Coursing is a Square for Restaurants specific feature designed to let the kitchen know when to hold or fire items. It is intended to group items and append additional items.
Fresh KDS displays all information sent from the POS (like a Printer), posing limitations for this feature.
If using the Coursing feature, Fresh KDS must be set up as a Printer. The entire ticket will be sent to the kitchen at once, and hold/fire indicators will show as modifiers.
