App Improvements

  • We made multiple improvements to make more screen space for KDS Tickets:

    • We moved the main menu from the top, to the left, of the KDS screen and added the ability to collapse the menu.

    • We updated the appearance of the actions menu to reduce the width.

  • We added the ability to send "order received" text messages based on the ready time. One of two messages can be sent to the guest:

    • One message goes to customers if the order is supposed to be ready in under 15 minutes (customizable).

    • Another message goes to customers if the order is supposed to be ready in over 15 minutes (customizable).

  • We simplified the wording on the screen, when all tickets have been cleared.

  • We simplified the login on devices that have already been used for KDS in the past. Now you'll be able to use your last configuration on that device.

Bug Fixes

  • We squashed bugs causing ticket parsing issues with Square.

  • We squashed bugs causing Square "Self Service" tickets to not print.
